Jimmy's of Santee opened its doors in 1977 as a modest neighborhood diner, built around a simple idea: serve good, honest, home-cooked food to the people who live and work nearby. Nearly five decades later, that same idea is still what brings people through our door.

We've grown and updated the menu along the way, but the heart of the place hasn't changed. We still make most everything in-house, from the breakfast plates to Jimmy's Famous Dinners, and we still think of Santee as our extended family.
